Baek Ji-young Surprises Husband Jung Seok-won with Luxury Shoes
On April 4, 2025, Baek Ji-young gifted her husband, Jung Seok-won, a pair of high-end shoes during an episode of her YouTube channel, ‘Baek Ji-young Baek Z Young.’ The video, titled ‘Jung Seok-won Can't Believe Baek Ji-young Found a Great Jajangmyeon Place (Open Run Mistake, First on Air),’ showcased the couple enjoying a meal at a popular Jajangmyeon restaurant.
The couple indulged in their favorite dishes, with Jung Seok-won, who is known for his love of Jajangmyeon, smiling throughout the meal. Baek Ji-young, who initially ordered Jjamppong, ended up focusing on the Jajangmyeon as well. They shared sweet moments over Tangsooyook (sweet and sour pork), with Baek Ji-young expressing her happiness, saying, “Honey, it makes me so happy to hear you say it’s delicious.” She then asked, “Should we pack some for the kids (Haim's friends) who are coming over today? Maybe some Tangsooyook and Jajangmyeon?”
Jung Seok-won reminded her, “But the kids are coming at 5 PM,” to which Baek Ji-young, despite it being only 11 AM, insisted, “Let’s still pack some.” As they considered takeout, Jung Seok-won cautioned, “Think carefully! Don’t waste it, and the taste might change.” He also teased Baek Ji-young about her tendency to make impulsive purchases, to which she laughed and agreed, saying, “I know, I know.”
After their meal, Baek Ji-young shared a recent experience regarding a sebaceous cyst on her back, which Jung Seok-won had helped her with. She recounted, “He had a procedure to remove it, and every time he applied body lotion on my back, he worried about it needing to be cut open.” She described a moment when she noticed blood on her towel after showering, leading her to believe something was wrong with her body.
Baek Ji-young explained, “When I pressed it, pus kept coming out. I disinfected it and put a bandage on, asking him to check it at night.” Jung Seok-won noted that the area was slightly swollen, prompting him to consider getting checked himself. Baek Ji-young added, “That’s why we came for enzyme therapy. Since then, it hasn’t gotten worse. I checked today, and it looks fine. If I had filmed the cyst being popped, you all would have been shocked. A worm came out!”
As they left the restaurant, the production team asked Jung Seok-won to describe his shoes. He proudly revealed, “These? My wife bought them for my birthday,” showcasing a pair of shoes from brand B worth approximately 1.5 million won. He added, “I’ve only worn these for 2 or 3 years now.”
