KCM Reveals His Two Daughters on MBC's 'Point of Omniscient Interference'

On April 5, during the 341st episode of MBC's entertainment program 'Point of Omniscient Interference' (전지적 참견 시점), singer KCM opened up about his life as a father, revealing for the first time that he has two daughters. The 13-year-old and 3-year-old girls were a significant part of his life, especially during a three-year hiatus from his career when he welcomed his first child. KCM shared, 'When my first child was born, I took a break from my activities. After three years of challenges, I got the chance to return to broadcasting. But after three years, it felt strange to suddenly talk about it. No one really asked how I was doing during that time.' He noted that his close friends and long-time fans were already aware of his family situation, as they had seen his family at performances.
When asked by his manager, Park Eun-ji, about his daughters' reactions to the news, KCM said they expressed concern, asking, 'Is Dad okay?' He expressed a deep affection for his children, stating, 'I feel like I was born to meet my kids.'
Later in the episode, KCM, who has fully embraced life in Jeju, prepared for a fishing trip with his manager. Despite his confidence in catching a large fish, he ended up with no catches at all. In a humorous twist, he pretended to catch a fish from a tank below the boat while his manager was away, leading to a light-hearted moment.
KCM has also been actively engaging with the local community, recently hosting a neighborhood party at a newly opened seafood restaurant. The event saw a mix of celebrity friends, including Wax and Super Junior's Kim Heechul, as well as local fishermen and divers, all bringing their own catches to share, creating a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere. KCM's warm interactions and community spirit have resonated well with fans, showcasing a fulfilling and rich life in Jeju.
