Actress and BJ Kang Eun-bi to Marry Longtime Partner Byun Jun-pil

Actress and BJ Kang Eun-bi (강은비) is set to marry her longtime boyfriend Byun Jun-pil (변준필), with whom she has been in a relationship for 17 years. The couple will tie the knot on April 5, 2025, in a private ceremony in Seoul. Byun, a fellow alumnus of Seoul Arts University, was first linked to Kang in 2008, although they initially denied the rumors. After years of dating, they have decided to take the next step in their relationship.

Kang shared the news of their marriage on her personal social media account on March 6, stating, "During a time of uncertainty in 2008, I met a friend who helped me become more positive, and I thought, 'Perhaps I can build a good family.'" She expressed gratitude for Byun's unwavering support, describing him as a steadfast presence in her life, akin to a silent tree that provides comfort.

Reflecting on their long relationship, Kang noted, "After 17 years together, we have finally decided to get married. We prepared for this moment as if we were starting our first relationship, without any fights or disputes."

Kang also highlighted their deep connection, mentioning that they have never broken up since they started dating in 2008. Both born in 1986 and having attended the same university, she affectionately referred to Byun as her shadow, always supporting her from behind the scenes. She added, "We never even took the typical couple photos. While I may not be a big star, Byun always stayed in the background to avoid interfering with my career. Now, we will live as a couple who support each other side by side."

Kang Eun-bi made her acting debut in 2005 with the film 'Mongjeonggi 2' (몽정기2) and has appeared in various dramas, including 'The Man in the Vineyard' (포도밭 그 사나이) and 'Solyakgukjip Sons' (솔약국집 아들들). She is currently active as an internet broadcaster (BJ).
