YUJU Releases First OST for 'One Week Before I Die'

YUJU, a member of the girl group GFRIEND and a solo artist, has taken the lead in the original soundtrack (OST) for the Tving series '내가 죽기 일주일 전' (One Week Before I Die). The production team announced that the first part of the OST, featuring YUJU's song '우연히 봄' (Spring by Chance), will be released on all major music platforms at 6 PM on April 3, 2025.

'우연히 봄' is a reimagined version of the beloved OST from the drama '냄새를 보는 소녀' (The Girl Who Sees Smells), which YUJU previously performed alongside rapper Loco. This new rendition features a lyrical band sound centered around gentle guitar melodies, capturing the freshness and excitement of spring. The song progresses with uplifting arrangements that enhance its emotional resonance, creating a delightful aftertaste for listeners.

Known for her delicate emotional expression and strong vocals, YUJU infuses deep sentiment into this OST, enriching the overall atmosphere of the track.

The Tving original series '내가 죽기 일주일 전' will premiere its first two episodes at noon on the same day. The story follows Hee-wan (played by Kim Min-ha), who, while turning her back on the world, encounters her first love, Ram-woo (played by Gong Myung), who appears as a grim reaper, leading to a fantasy romance. The series garnered significant attention after being invited to the 'On Screen' section of the Busan International Film Festival last year.

YUJU's '우연히 봄' will be available on major music streaming sites at 6 PM, and fans of the drama are eagerly anticipating how this song will evoke a gentle thrill in their hearts as spring begins.
