Lee Min-ho Opens Up About Ideal Type and Marriage Concerns on '짠한형'
In the latest episode of '짠한형', Lee Min-ho shared his thoughts on his ideal partner and his struggles with the concept of marriage. The episode, titled 'Gong Hyo-jin and Lee Min-ho {짠한형} EP. 74, I'll Give You All the Words You Like, Old Man, Sex!', was released on January 6.
During the show, Gong Hyo-jin praised Lee Min-ho for his good manners, while Shin Dong-yup acknowledged his well-known loyalty and kindness. Lee Min-ho humorously responded, 'But what does that matter if I’m not married?' Gong Hyo-jin then revealed that Min-ho often expresses envy towards her marriage, to which he admitted, 'It's the most important choice in life, and I'm still deeply contemplating it.' He confessed that he does not yet have a clear conviction about marriage.
As Gong Hyo-jin looked at him enviously, she offered to help him with a proposal, promising to assess whether the woman is good enough for him. Lee Min-ho expressed that he would trust her judgment. When asked about his ideal type, he mentioned that he is attracted to natural and genuine people, specifically noting that he appreciates Gong Hyo-jin's style, which embodies consideration and respect for others. Gong Hyo-jin humorously remarked that she is actively searching for a suitable partner for him.
Describing his dating style, Lee Min-ho referred to himself as a 'lover', stating, 'Once I’m interested in someone, I pursue it wholeheartedly.' He also shared that his close friend these days is Lee Jung-jae, emphasizing the comfort of being around people who feel familiar, even after years apart. He enjoys engaging with individuals from different backgrounds, such as entrepreneurs and IT leaders, rather than just fellow actors.
Reflecting on his past, he mentioned that he sought isolation in his 20s and early 30s, often feeling disappointed when meeting new people. He prefers interactions that feel natural and comfortable. Shin Dong-yup humorously asked if '짠한형' is the most authentic representation of Lee Min-ho, eliciting laughter.
Gong Hyo-jin observed Lee Min-ho's interaction with Shin Dong-yup and commented that it seemed like he was sending hearts to him. Lee Min-ho expressed admiration for Shin Dong-yup, stating that he has an eye for recognizing like-minded individuals. He acknowledged that while some people manage their lives well, he struggles to maintain that balance due to the demands of his work, emphasizing the importance of relaxation in his personal life. Shin Dong-yup agreed, calling Lee Min-ho's approach 'artistic.'
