Intense Investigations Unfold in 'Brave Detectives 4'

In the upcoming episode of 'Brave Detectives 4' (용감한 형사들4), airing on July 11, viewers will witness the gripping results of a complex investigation led by detectives Jeong Myung-hoon, former KCSI Commissioner Yoon Wae-chul, and Inspector Kim Jin-soo. The 42nd episode begins with a report from a younger brother who, concerned after failing to reach his older sibling by phone, goes to check on him. Upon arrival, the investigation team discovers a severely decomposed body, believed to have been there for about a month. The victim, a man in his late 50s living alone and receiving government assistance, had mobility issues and relied on a motorized wheelchair and a cane.

Evidence at the scene, including a blood-stained futon and splatter on the walls, suggests that the victim was attacked in the living room, with the body found covered by a blanket in front of the bathroom. An autopsy reveals nine blunt force injuries to the head and face, with the cause of death suspected to be asphyxiation due to neck compression.

The investigation shifts focus to the victim's missing mobile phone. Communication records indicate that the phone was in use up until five days before the report was made. Additionally, it appears the victim sent a text message seeking help. Just a day before the report, a transfer of funds from the victim's bank account was also noted, indicating that the perpetrator had meticulously planned the crime, even recording evidence during the victim's life.

The episode also introduces a second case, where a man bursts into a police station with a blood-soaked towel wrapped around his hand. The taxi driver reports that while he was stopped at a red light with a female passenger in her early 20s, two unknown men entered the vehicle, threatening them with knives and demanding money. The driver managed to escape but suffered severe injuries, including a torn ligament in his left hand.

The investigation team tracks the passenger's destination to identify the kidnapped woman. Tragically, her body is later discovered face down in the water near the last cell tower her phone connected to, with her clothing partially submerged. She had suffered 16 stab wounds, including a fatal injury that penetrated her heart. As the team investigates further, they realize that crucial evidence is missing from the scene, leading them to question the true nature of the events. The shocking details and brutal realities of these two cases will be revealed in 'Brave Detectives 4.'

'Brave Detectives 4' airs every Friday at 9:50 PM and is available on major OTT platforms like Netflix, Tving, and Wavve. Fans can also find live updates and videos on the official E Channel YouTube and Instagram accounts.
