Kim Bora Remembers Late Friend Kim Sae Ron on 49th Day Memorial

Actress Kim Bora has expressed her heartfelt memories of her late friend, Kim Sae Ron, as she commemorated the 49th day since her passing. On April 5, Kim Bora shared a touching post on her personal social media account, reminiscing about their first meeting at an audition when she was 16 and Kim Sae Ron was just 11.

In her post, Kim Bora reflected on their journey together, recalling moments from their teenage years, including Kim Sae Ron's transition from middle school to high school, her love for receiving letters, and the fun they had exchanging messages even on non-special occasions. She humorously noted, 'You, the youngest who hated the cold, it’s raining again. Don’t fall, you silly, just accept my letter.'

Kim Bora also shared a video featuring the two of them together, stating, 'Even though we can never meet again, isn’t it nice that we shared those moments together?' She added a poignant message for her friend, encouraging her to eat well and talk more in the afterlife.

The two actresses, both former child stars, were known for their close friendship in the entertainment industry. Following the news of Kim Sae Ron's death, Kim Bora visited her memorial to pay her respects and sent a wreath with a message that read, 'When we meet again, I’ll try to nag you less.'

Kim Sae Ron was found deceased at her home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on February 16. Her family has claimed that she was in a relationship with actor Kim Soo Hyun for six years, starting when she was a minor in 2015. However, Kim Soo Hyun's representatives have denied these claims, stating that they only dated after she turned 18, from the summer of 2019 to fall 2020. This controversy has led to escalating tensions between the two parties.
