Kim Jaejoong Moves to Tears as He Sees His Father's Emotions on 'Newly Released Menu'

In a heartfelt episode of KBS 2TV's Newly Released Menu (신상출시 편스토랑) airing on April 4 at 8:30 PM, singer and actor Kim Jaejoong, the youngest of nine siblings, prepares a special celebration for his parents' 60th wedding anniversary. Taking on the roles of planner, director, investor, and host, Jaejoong goes all out to honor his parents.

In the episode, Jaejoong is seen arriving at a prestigious five-star hotel with his parents, having rented a banquet hall for the occasion. He meticulously organizes a menu that caters to the tastes of his large family, ensuring everyone can enjoy the feast. The event sees the entire Kim family, including all nine siblings, come together to celebrate.

Despite only direct family members being present, the banquet hall is filled with love and laughter. The siblings express their gratitude to their parents with deep bows, acknowledging the sacrifices made in raising them.

Jaejoong's parents beam with joy, and the happiness is palpable among the siblings. At one point, Jaejoong's father expresses his pride, saying, "Seeing all of you here makes me feel fulfilled. Are you all really my children?"

However, he also shares a moment of vulnerability, admitting, "I feel sorry that I couldn't do better for you all. I wish I could have given you more like other families do. Thank you for growing up so well despite that." This emotional confession brings tears to his eyes, and Jaejoong, who has never seen his father cry before, finds himself moved to tears as well.

The siblings join in, crying and proclaiming their love for their father, which also brings tears to the eyes of the show's cast members watching the touching moment unfold.
