Jung Woo-sung Spotted in China with Lee Jung-jae Amid Recent Controversy

Actor Jung Woo-sung, who recently made headlines due to the revelation of his extramarital child, has been spotted in China. He was accompanied by his close friend and fellow actor Lee Jung-jae. On April 2, it was reported that the two visited Beijing to meet with local entertainment industry representatives. As co-founders of Artist Company, they also made a visit to an entertainment firm affiliated with Alibaba Group.

Additionally, reports from Chinese media outlets, including Sina Entertainment, revealed that Jung Woo-sung and Lee Jung-jae held a private meeting with renowned Chinese actor Zhou Dongyu at an upscale membership bar in Seoul. Dressed in white and blue jackets, the trio reportedly enjoyed a small gathering and engaged in conversation for about two hours.

Zhou Dongyu, who debuted in 2010 with the film 'Under the Hawthorn Tree,' has appeared in various dramas and films, including 'Majiang,' 'The Best of You in My Mind,' 'Soulmate,' 'Some Day or One Day,' and 'Born to Fly.' She gained significant recognition for her performance in the film 'Better Days,' earning her a large fanbase in South Korea.

The news of Jung Woo-sung and Lee Jung-jae's visit to China, along with their late-night meeting with Zhou Dongyu, has sparked anticipation for potential collaborative projects between South Korea and China, especially in light of the recent lifting of the Korean Wave ban.

This meeting is particularly noteworthy as it marks one of the first updates on Jung Woo-sung since the public learned about his extramarital child with model Moon Ga-bi last year. Moon Ga-bi initially announced the birth, later revealing that Jung Woo-sung is the child's father. Although they are not married, Jung Woo-sung has expressed his commitment to fulfilling his responsibilities as a father.

At the time, Jung Woo-sung's representatives confirmed, "The child that Moon Ga-bi revealed is indeed Jung Woo-sung's biological child. We are discussing the best approach for raising the child and will do our utmost as a father." However, following the revelation, there were controversies surrounding leaked photos of Jung Woo-sung with a non-celebrity and past direct messages exchanged on social media.

In response to the controversies, Moon Ga-bi stated, "I have done my best in my relationship with him, and the decision to welcome this child, who came to us as a precious gift, was made by both parents. I am prepared to dedicate my life to this child, and that decision has ultimately become the greatest gift to myself."
