Jung Jae-kwang Shines as the 'Gratitude Man' on MBC's 'I Live Alone'

In the latest episode of MBC's 'I Live Alone' (나 혼자 산다), actor Jung Jae-kwang showcases his infectious positivity as the 'Gratitude Man.' His comments about feeling thankful for even the steepest hills and military marches leave the other cast members, known as the Rainbow Club, in disbelief and laughter.

The episode, airing today (April 4), features Jung Jae-kwang's relentless walking sessions and Giann84's motorcycle adventure in Jeju Island. A preview clip highlights Jung's impressive walking route, where he continues to trek through narrow alleys and steep inclines without stopping. Upon encountering a hill, he exclaims, "I realize I haven't done any lower body workouts until now... this is great!" and adds, "I'm grateful for the hill," leaving the Rainbow members puzzled.

Jung proudly states, "I walk for about eight hours at a time," showcasing his dedication as a 'walking enthusiast.' After crossing the Dongho Bridge over the Han River, he walks 7 kilometers in about two hours, prompting Park Na-rae to joke, "Is this really a walk? Isn’t it going to end at Imjingak?"

He shares that he has been walking for 11 years, initially to lose weight by covering 20 to 24 kilometers daily. As he lost weight rapidly, he found joy in walking, which became his personal healing method.

In a surprising twist, Jung reveals, "The military was a very comfortable place for me," shocking the Rainbow members. He expresses his joy in marching, embodying the spirit of a 'Gratitude Man.' In response, Jeon Hyun-moo humorously states, "I’m grateful I can take the elevator," eliciting laughter.

Jung also embarks on a quest to find a vintage clock that fits his studio apartment, walking all the way to Dongmyo, known as a 'hipster's paradise.'

Meanwhile, Giann84 is seen enjoying his first motorcycle ride in Jeju. As he rides through the refreshing spring breeze, he becomes enveloped in thick fog as he ascends in altitude. Just moments before, he was riding along cherry blossom paths, and now he describes the foggy roads as feeling like he’s being pulled into a fantasy.

After navigating through dense forest paths, Giann84 arrives at a temple where his father's memorial tablet is kept. His mother moved to Jeju and brought his father’s tablet to the temple. Inside the hall, he warmly greets the monk and pays his respects to his father after nearly a year.

Seeing Giann84 light a candle and clasp his hands in prayer, Park Na-rae empathizes, saying, "Even if you’re busy, you should go. Even if you can’t make it during holidays, visiting when you have time really brings peace of mind."

Giann84 expresses his feelings, saying, "I’ve always received from my father," revealing his longing and regret. Remembering his beloved father, Giann84’s heartfelt sincerity as 'Filial Son 84' touches the hearts of the Rainbow members.

Viewers can catch Jung Jae-kwang's unwavering dedication to walking and Giann84's heartfelt tribute to his late father in tonight's episode of 'I Live Alone' at 11:10 PM.
