Fiancé Praises Nam Bora's Culinary Skills on 'Newly Released Menu'

On the April 4 episode of KBS2's variety show Newly Released Menu (신상출시 편스토랑), Nam Bora showcased her cooking skills as she prepared her first meal in her new home. With an empty fridge, she hurried to the market, filling her arms with groceries. The panelists humorously noted, 'You two are just starting out, but you still shop in bulk.' Nam Bora then embarked on a large-scale cooking session, starting with making kimchi and impressively preparing 43 pieces of homemade pork cutlet.

Continuing her ambitious cooking, she also made 70 pieces of squid-filled tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties). At times struggling with the volume of food, she joked, 'I should ask my fiancé to help with the heavy lifting in the kitchen.' Kim Jaejoong commented on the massive quantity, asking, 'Is it a holiday?' to which Nam Bora replied, 'It's a weekday.' Chef Lee Yeonbok expressed his amazement, stating, 'No ordinary household makes this much food.'

That evening, Nam Bora practiced a new mission on the show, which involved preparing 30 servings of rice bowls. She presented her homemade spicy curry rice and tteokgalbi rice to her fiancé. He praised the pork cutlet, saying, 'It's so delicious. The curry tastes a bit different from what I usually have; it seems to have chili powder in it. It's spicy and tasty. I think Bora's curry is the best.' After trying the squid tteokgalbi rice, he sweetly remarked, 'This can't taste bad; the sauce is amazing! You should sell this.'

Ultimately, he chose the squid tteokgalbi rice bowl, stating, 'I've had a lot of curry, but the tteokgalbi is different; the combination is incredible.' Nam Bora hinted at collaborating with Chef Park Eun-young to create a special recipe for the rice bowl, building anticipation for what's to come.
