In the wake of Seo Hee-won's death, Gu has canceled a flash mob event scheduled for February and a beauty clinic opening planned for March, effectively halting his activities indefinitely. Sources reveal that he is deeply grieving, spending sleepless nights in tears.

While there have been speculations about Gu returning to Korea, it is believed he will remain in Taiwan until a statue commemorating Seo Hee-won is completed. Family members, including Seo's brother Seo Hee-je, are reportedly gathering weekly to support Gu during this difficult time, and a close friend has traveled from abroad to be by his side.

Gu is said to be collaborating with a designer friend to create a memorial statue for Seo, which will be placed in a notable area near her grave. The statue is intended to honor her memory and will be situated a short distance from her burial site.
