Han Sang-jin Lands New Show Thanks to 'Pinggaego'

Actor Han Sang-jin has announced that he has secured a new program thanks to his appearance on the web entertainment show 'Pinggaego' (핑계고). In the episode released on April 5, Han Sang-jin and Choi Daniel were invited to share their experiences.

Han revealed, "Something amazing happened. You know PD Lee Ji-sun from 'I Live Alone' (나 혼자 산다)? She reached out to me and suggested we grab a meal together." He continued, "After our meal, we decided to collaborate on a new program. We filmed our first episode just the day before, titled 'Detectives' Chatter' (형사들의 수다), which focuses on crime prevention."

Yoo Jae-suk expressed his pride, saying, "So Sang-jin has joined a fixed variety show now!" while Nam Chang-hee chimed in, applauding, "Pinggaego has made this all happen!"

Han Sang-jin humorously added, "Pinggaego has not only made me an MC but also helped my wife win! Long live Pinggaego!"

Previously, Han had appeared on 'Mini Pinggaego' and shared, "I was a member of the first episode of 'I Live Alone.' It originally started as a pilot called 'When a Man Lives Alone.' While filming with PD Lee Ji-sun for 'Ma-ui,' we discussed my life as a weekend couple. I mentioned how I usually order jajangmyeon, eat one now, and freeze the other for later, which she found hilarious and suggested we film it. That’s how 'I Live Alone' began."

He explained that the pilot received excellent ratings, and his segment was the most popular. However, he had to leave the show as his wife announced her retirement, meaning he would no longer be living alone.

Han also revealed, "After that, PD Lee Ji-sun apologized and suggested we work together on something else before she declared her freedom and left," which brought laughter to the conversation.
