Director Cho Jang-ho Shares Inspiration Behind 'Streaming' at Production Conference

On February 26, a production conference for the crime film 'Streaming' (directed by Cho Jang-ho and produced by Berry Good Studio) took place at Lotte Cinema in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. The event featured actor Kang Ha-neul, who plays the lead role of Woo-sang, a top crime channel streamer, alongside director Cho Jang-ho.
Director Cho expressed his admiration for Kang Ha-neul, stating, "I was deeply moved by his attitude during our previous collaboration, which inspired me to cast him in this project. I had been writing the script while he was serving in the military, and I promised myself to finish it for him. After his return, he became a hot topic with 'When the Camellia Blooms,' and I felt this film was meant for him. It showcases his true self."
'Streaming' follows a crime channel streamer with the highest subscriber count as he uncovers clues to a series of unresolved murders and broadcasts his pursuit of the culprit in real-time. This film marks Cho Jang-ho's directorial debut and is set to be released on March 21, 2025.
