Song Joong-ki Shares Family Love on 'The Seasons - Lee Young-ji's Rainbow'
In the latest episode of KBS2TV's 'The Seasons - Lee Young-ji's Rainbow,' actor Song Joong-ki made a special appearance, showcasing his affection for family. Notably, as a new father, he revealed that he is studying parenting through Dr. Oh Eun-young's program, which caught the audience's attention.
During the broadcast on January 10, Lee Young-ji introduced Song Joong-ki, noting that this was his first appearance on a music talk show in his 17-year career. Upon taking the stage, Song expressed his nervousness, saying, "I'm really nervous today. Happy New Year!"
Lee mentioned that she heard fans are strongly opposed to him singing and dancing, to which Song humorously responded, "If I do that, they said they would sue me. I came prepared to be sued!" He added, "I believe fans will understand, even if they might actually sue me."
The conversation also touched on his recently released film, 'Bogotá: The Last Chance.' Lee shared her admiration for Song, stating, "I've loved him since I was young; he's a guaranteed box office hit. My favorite movie is 'Wolf Boy,' and I wanted to marry him back then, but unfortunately, he's married now," which elicited laughter.
Lee pointed out that Song plays a family man in the film, to which he replied, "I am a family man in real life too." When asked who his children resemble, he shared, "My first child is 19 months old, and my son looks more like his mom, while my daughter resembles me. She's so beautiful."
Song also mentioned that his YouTube algorithm has completely changed, as he has been watching Dr. Oh Eun-young's 'My Precious Child' to learn about parenting.
In a playful exchange, Lee, who referred to herself as a 'precious child,' asked how he would educate his children if they were as stubborn as she was. Song complimented her, saying, "I don't think Young-ji is a precious child; it's great to do what you want to do." He added, "As a new dad, I may not know all the details, but I believe that loving my wife sincerely is the best education."
