No Sa-yeon Helps Ji Sang-ryeol Find Love on KBS2

In a recent episode of KBS2's 'Salim Namja Deul 2' (살림하는 남자들2), singer No Sa-yeon (노사연) made a special appearance at the home of 56-year-old single Ji Sang-ryeol (지상렬) to assist him in his quest for marriage.

No Sa-yeon reminisced about their long-standing friendship, stating, "It feels like it's been 20 years. We've been radio partners for six and a half years." She was invited by Ji Sang-ryeol's sister-in-law, who has often been compared to No Sa-yeon due to their similar appearances. Fellow guest Eun Ji-won (은지원) noted, "Your voices are identical. Didn't I say that when I first met your sister-in-law?"

Upon entering, No Sa-yeon was taken aback by the resemblance, exclaiming, "I thought I was looking in a full-length mirror!" Ji Sang-ryeol humorously remarked while sitting on his bed, "Looks like I’ll be sharing this bed with you, Noona (누나)." To which she replied, "I’m the first woman here, so isn’t it already different?" Ji Sang-ryeol joked back, "This bed is like a sinkhole!"

No Sa-yeon expressed her determination to help Ji Sang-ryeol find a partner, saying, "Now that the bed has been initiated, a woman who can use it should come. That’s the goal!" She added, "You’ve got to help us create a connection!"

Having a long history with Ji Sang-ryeol's family, No Sa-yeon mentioned, "Once Sang-ryeol gets married, that’s it for me." She also brought a collection of clothes for Ji Sang-ryeol's sister-in-law, explaining, "I always ask for clothes that you don’t wear anymore, but I’ve been too busy to keep up with it."

During dinner, Ji Sang-ryeol's sister-in-law served a meal, and despite having recently had two molars extracted and wearing a cast on her left arm, No Sa-yeon devoured the food enthusiastically, impressing everyone. Eun Ji-won remarked, "You’re eating better than someone with all their teeth!"

When Ji Sang-ryeol asked No Sa-yeon who she thinks of when enjoying delicious food, she mentioned her long-time friend Lee Mu-song (이무송), saying, "Whether I like it or not, he comes to mind. We’ve been living together for 30 years, and we only use our mouths for eating. If we talk too much, we end up fighting."

In a surprising revelation, No Sa-yeon disclosed that Ji Sang-ryeol once prioritized his dog over dating, stating, "He went to feed his dog instead of meeting a girl!" Ji Sang-ryeol confirmed, "Honestly, my dog comes first even now. If I have to choose between dinner with a woman or feeding my dog, I’d choose the dog!"

As the conversation continued, Ji Sang-ryeol shared a story about a past crush, mentioning a Russian girlfriend named Oksana, who he claimed resembled Dua Lipa. His sister-in-law questioned if she was real, prompting laughter from the group.

No Sa-yeon expressed concern about Ji Sang-ryeol's future, saying, "If you have kids, the age difference between you and your partner will be significant. You’ll have to celebrate a lot of milestones together!" Ji Sang-ryeol agreed, noting that while there are many joys ahead, challenges may also arise.

As the episode wrapped up, Ji Sang-ryeol's sister-in-law insisted on devising a plan to ensure he gets married this year, asking No Sa-yeon for dating advice. Ji Sang-ryeol humorously responded, "If you think of Noona as your girlfriend, that’s like going into exile!" No Sa-yeon added, "I don’t have much experience either; I married at first sight!"
