LE SSERAFIM Wins First Place on Music Show After Official Activities End
LE SSERAFIM has clinched the top spot on a music show following the conclusion of their official activities. On April 6, during the SBS program Inkigayo, the title track 'HOT' from their fifth mini album achieved first place. This ranking was determined by a combination of album sales, social media engagement, viewer pre-voting, on-air scores, real-time voting, and online music scores, showcasing LE SSERAFIM's enduring popularity even after their promotional period.
In a statement through their agency Source Music, the group expressed their gratitude, saying, "We gained a lot of strength from the passionate support of our fans during the 'HOT' promotions, and we are truly happy and thankful to receive continued love even after our activities have ended. Just like the message of our song, 'We will burn everything for what we love, even if we cannot know the ending,' we will work hard for everyone who supports us. We are preparing for our upcoming world tour with a grateful heart and will strive to always be a group that you can be proud of."
The title track 'HOT' made a significant impact upon its release, entering the iTunes 'Top Songs' chart in 27 countries and regions, including Japan, the United States, and Hong Kong. It also ranked third on Spotify's Korean 'Daily Top Songs' chart, following solo tracks by BTS (방탄소년단). The song's performance on major domestic music platforms has been on the rise, with Melon and Genie charts showing increases of 66 and 74 spots, respectively, reaching 15th and 31st positions as of April 5. Notably, it ranked third on Bugs as of April 3.
