Heartwarming Moments from 'My Child's Affairs' Featuring Choo Sung-hoon and Yano Shiho
The latest episode of ENA's Sunday variety show, My Child's Affairs (내 아이의 사생활), aired on April 6, 2025, showcasing the delightful love story of Choo Sung-hoon and Yano Shiho, filled with both laughter and touching moments. In the 15th episode, viewers were treated to the heartwarming tales of two families, the Do family and the Choo family, as they shared their experiences in Vietnam.
Do Kyung-wan and the Do siblings conducted a Korean language class for local students at a language school in Vietnam, covering essential phrases for traveling and even a K-beauty makeup session, which received enthusiastic responses from the students. Jang Yoon-jung praised, "Our kids' class was fantastic!"
The trio then visited the famous 'Fairy Spring' in Mui Ne, known as the 'Grand Canyon of the East.' Dressed in a beautiful dress for photos, Ha-young was taken aback when she realized she had to wade into the water, exclaiming, "That's not happening!" Jang Yoon-jung humorously noted that Ha-young was starting to resemble her in mannerisms.
While walking through the Fairy Spring, Ha-young lost her shoes. Although Yeon-woo managed to retrieve them, Ha-young, already wet and frustrated, refused to continue. Observing her brother moving ahead despite her protests, she channeled Jang Yoon-jung's tone, saying, "Why won't you listen and come back?" This playful banter brought laughter to the studio.
Thanks to Yeon-woo's sweet nature, the siblings reconciled, and they completed their adventure at the Fairy Spring, creating new memories that provided viewers with a sense of healing.
The episode also featured the popular 'Ajoossi' Choo Sung-hoon and his family's daily life. Following a previous episode that showcased their untidy home, the Choo family was seen in a much tidier state. During breakfast, they shared laughs over a story about their pet chimpanzee, Kiki, whom Choo Sung-hoon jokingly referred to as his second son. However, he humorously pretended not to hear Yano Shiho's hints about wanting a real second child.
Additionally, a shopping date between Sarang and Yano Shiho was highlighted, where Yano used her modeling experience to pick out outfits for Sarang. Choo Sung-hoon joined them after his workout, and the family discussed the theme of 'dating.'
Yano Shiho recounted how she became interested in Choo Sung-hoon after seeing him on TV. When Sarang asked, "Who liked whom first?" Yano revealed, "While we were dating, I noticed Dad's eyes sparkling, and I thought, 'He likes me.' So, I hugged him on the way home, and he was surprised." Choo Sung-hoon playfully responded, "I don't remember."
Yano also reminisced about their proposal. On her birthday, Choo Sung-hoon arrived in a rented limousine, and while they were out, he pretended to have a stomach ache to sneak away and prepare a surprise proposal with candles and a ring, which Yano found heartwarming.
In a light-hearted moment, Yano Shiho asked Choo Sung-hoon what he liked about her, to which he jokingly replied, "Because you're famous," leaving everyone stunned. After some teasing, he clarified, saying, "Because you're kind." He further explained in the studio that famous people have their charm, which is why he was attracted to her.
Yano Shiho expressed her affection for Sarang, saying, "Sarang always looks out for everyone around her." When Sarang pointed out, "That's Mom!" Yano was moved to tears, realizing how much Sarang had grown to understand a mother's heart. This touching family dynamic provided viewers with a delightful experience.
As the episode concluded, a teaser was shown featuring Sarang and Yuto meeting actor Jung Hae-in, piquing viewers' curiosity. My Child's Affairs airs every Sunday at 7:50 PM on ENA.
