SEVENTEEN Makes History as First K-Pop Act to Headline Tecate Pa'l Norte 2025

SEVENTEEN has once again made a significant mark on the international stage by becoming the first K-Pop group to headline the Tecate Pa'l Norte 2025 festival in Mexico. The group performed on April 4 at the main stage, Tecate Light, in Monterrey's Fundidora Park, delivering an electrifying set that lasted over an hour and featured more than 13 songs.

True to their reputation as 'performance masters,' SEVENTEEN captivated local fans with their dynamic choreography, seasoned stage presence, and diverse musical range. As the live band kicked off their performance, the expansive venue erupted in cheers. They opened with hits like 'LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled),' 'Left & Right,' and 'Snap Shoot,' radiating infectious energy.

The concert showcased various unit stages, starting with Hoshi and Woozi's 'BEAM,' followed by the hip-hop team's 'Water,' the performance team's 'Rain,' and the vocal team's '청춘찬가' (Youth Anthem), highlighting SEVENTEEN's multifaceted appeal.

The festival atmosphere peaked with their outdoor anthem 'Headliner' and the uplifting '음악의 신' (God of Music), as members engaged the crowd, demonstrating their prowess as festival favorites. The powerful performances of 'March' and '손오공' (Son Goku) combined intense band arrangements with impressive choreography, elevating the excitement to new heights.

Returning to Mexico after five years, SEVENTEEN greeted the audience in Spanish and actively interacted with fans, who responded with enthusiasm. During key tracks like 'HOT' and '음악의 신,' the crowd sang along in Korean, waving SEVENTEEN's official light sticks, the '캐럿봉' (CARAT Bong), and banners with the members' names.

The group expressed their gratitude, stating, "This moment was made possible by CARATs from all over the world. We will never forget today." In a pre-show press conference, leader S.Coups shared their excitement about being the first K-Pop artists to participate in the festival, emphasizing the joy of connecting with fans through music, regardless of language or nationality. He added, "We are known for our performances, and we will showcase that at Pa'l Norte. We hope to return to Mexico for a world tour next time."

Tecate Pa'l Norte, often referred to as the 'Coachella of Mexico,' is one of the largest music festivals in Latin America. SEVENTEEN's participation alongside artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Green Day, Benson Boon, and Charli XCX underscores their growing global stature.

Following their successful performance at Pa'l Norte, SEVENTEEN will head to Japan for their 'SEVENTEEN 2025 JAPAN FAN MEETING 'HOLIDAY'' at the Kyocera Dome Osaka on April 24 and 26-27, and at the Saitama Super Arena on May 10-11.
