KCM Shares His Passion for Fishing on MBC's 'My Little Old Boy'

On April 5, singer KCM appeared on MBC's entertainment program 'My Little Old Boy' (전지적 참견 시점), showcasing his life in Jeju and his deep love for fishing. During the episode, KCM's manager revealed that they had purchased a fishing boat, but it was unfortunately damaged due to a natural disaster. KCM explained, 'The repair costs were higher than the boat's value, so I decided to scrap it. In Jeju, a single phone call can get you a boat. Since fishing is my side job, I have a network here.' He demonstrated this by calling a friend to borrow a boat, receiving an immediate positive response.

KCM also gave a tour of his home in Jeju, which was filled with an impressive collection of fishing gear. He humorously noted, 'My wife would be shocked to see how much fishing equipment I have. She doesn't know I own this many rods. When she visits, I make sure to tidy up a bit. The most expensive rod I have is worth 3 million won, and I have over 300 rods, most of which are gifts.'

He shared that he recently caught a 60cm rockfish, valued at around 1 million won, and mentioned, 'They say the pinnacle of fishing is catching rockfish. The largest one I've caught was 67cm, but it was so big that I released it back into the water, as it felt like a spiritual being.' KCM also surprised everyone by stating, 'When I go fishing, I spend about 600,000 won just on bait.'
