Former LABOUM Member Yujeong Reveals Yulhee's Pregnancy Story

Yujeong, a former member of the girl group LABOUM, shared the story behind Yulhee's pregnancy during a recent appearance on the YouTube channel 'B급 청문회' (B-Class Inquiry) on April 4. In the episode titled 'We Have a Third-Generation Idol from the Military President!', the conversation turned to the close relationship between LABOUM and fellow girl group Lovelyz.

When asked by Nam Ho-yeon if LABOUM and Lovelyz were close, Lovelyz's Ryu Su-jeong explained, 'During our promotions, it was common to have long music show appearances. Both groups were active for about two months at a time, so whenever we made a comeback, LABOUM was there, and vice versa.'

She added that while they frequently greeted each other, both groups lacked mobile phones at the time, making it difficult to form deeper friendships. This revelation surprised the hosts, especially when Choi Sung-min expressed disbelief that they couldn't use phones. Yujeong clarified, 'We only got to see each other after our seven-year contracts ended.'

Nam Ho-yeon then inquired if they were without phones for the entire seven years, to which Ryu Su-jeong responded, 'No, we didn't have phones for about four years.' Yujeong confirmed this, stating, 'They didn't explicitly say we couldn't use them.'

When asked if anyone had hidden phones, Yujeong humorously recounted how Yulhee had hidden her phone but eventually got caught. The discussion then shifted to the topic of dating restrictions. Yujeong explained that while there was no formal clause against dating, the company strongly advised against it, even monitoring their movements with CCTV in their dormitory. She recalled an incident during her first year when she was called in for leaving to get bubble tea, highlighting the strict environment they were under.
