Film 'Victory' Surpasses 1 Million Viewers Amid Controversy

The film 'Victory' (승부), directed by Kim Hyung-joo and produced by By4M Studio and Film Company Wolgwang, has crossed the significant milestone of 1 million viewers just 11 days after its release. Despite the controversy surrounding lead actor Yoo Ah-in's drug allegations, the film has maintained its position at the top of the box office since its debut. As of the morning of April 5, 2025, 'Victory' has accumulated a total of 1,056,921 viewers, indicating a strong performance as it enters its second weekend in theaters.

In addition to its box office success, 'Victory' is also performing well in advance ticket sales, suggesting that it will continue to attract audiences and surpass its break-even point this weekend. To celebrate the achievement of reaching 1 million viewers, the cast released a special thank-you video. Lee Byung-hun, who plays the role of Cho Hun-hyun, expressed his gratitude by writing '백만 감사' (Thank you, 1 million) in calligraphy.
