CHUU Announces Comeback with Emotional Teaser for 'Only Cry in the Rain'
CHUU, often referred to as the 'human vitamin,' has revealed a teaser video for her upcoming third mini album, 'Only Cry in the Rain.' Released on April 7 at midnight through her agency ATRP's official social media channels, the teaser presents a series of poignant images reminiscent of a slide film, each frame evoking deep emotions.
The video features scenes of a rainy street, a girl kneeling and crying, and a face that avoids direct eye contact, all while the name 'CHUU' overlays these moments, hinting at the stories hidden within. This teaser connects to the previously released ASCII art image of the 'crying girl,' visually narrating the theme of 'frozen emotions' that the new album encapsulates.
The collection of CHUU's crying photographs encourages viewers to complete the narrative in their imaginations, heightening anticipation for the album's concept.
Ahead of the album's release, CHUU will host a private listening event titled 'Private Listening Room' from April 19 to 21 at Movie Land in Seongsu-dong, where fans can experience the music in an intimate setting that reflects the mood board of her music video.
