T-ara's Hyomin Ties the Knot with a Financial Professional
On April 6, 2025, Hyomin of the girl group T-ara celebrated her wedding to a financial professional in a private ceremony held in Seoul. The couple opted for an intimate gathering, inviting only family and close friends to respect the privacy of Hyomin's non-celebrity fiancé.
On the same day, Hyomin shared a photo on her social media with the caption "D-day," showcasing her in a stunning white dress alongside her groom, who wore a white tuxedo. The groom's handsome features, reminiscent of actor Byun Yo-han, caught the attention of fans online.
Choreographer Bae Yoon-jung congratulated Hyomin, saying, "Our Hyomin! Congratulations. Let’s live beautifully," while Miss A's Fei also expressed her excitement with a comment, "Wow, congratulations, Hyomin!"
Hyomin had been planning the wedding in secret and revealed the news to friends with invitations sent out in February. Following media reports about her marriage, she took to social media to express her gratitude for the blessings and interest, explaining, "I was surprised that the news came out first. I apologize for not being able to respond to everyone individually due to a brand launch I was involved in yesterday. I will share good news soon."
She described her fiancé as not just a handsome man but someone she finds wonderful, stating, "I’ve come to realize how grateful I am for those who have supported me throughout the years."
Hyomin debuted with T-ara in 2009 and has since gained popularity with numerous hit songs. She has also acted in dramas such as My Girlfriend is a Gumiho (내 여자친구는 구미호), Gyebaek (계백), and The Thousandth Man (천 번째 남자), as well as films like The Queen's Classroom (기생령) and Love Jinx (연애 징크스!!!).
With her marriage, Hyomin becomes the third member of T-ara to don a wedding dress, following So-yeon and Ji-yeon.
