Song Da-eun Takes Legal Action Against Rumors and Defamation

Actress Song Da-eun, who gained recognition from the reality show Heart Signal 2 (하트시그널2), has begun to take a firm stand against various rumors surrounding her, including allegations of involvement with the Burning Sun club and dating BTS (방탄소년단) member Jimin. She has announced her intention to pursue legal action, stating, "I will go to the end."

On April 4, Song shared a screenshot of a notification regarding the investigation on her social media, questioning, "Why create something that requires an apology?" She explained that her absence from social media for several months was intentional and urged others not to spread false claims about her being a defendant in any case, asserting that such rumors only motivate her to fight back harder.

Song strongly denied the defamatory comments and rumors directed at her, stating, "Is it all my fault? Burning Sun? Escort girl? Fabrication? I am not any of those things." She expressed her frustration, saying, "Stop spreading only what you want to see and hear. You are making me out to be a strange person."

Regarding the past dating rumors with BTS's Jimin, she reacted with disbelief, saying, "Just a fan? Me?" and emphasized that she dislikes being portrayed as someone she is not due to unfounded accusations.

She further stated, "I don’t need an apology. I am currently pursuing various charges. I have not made any false statements. Keep leaving malicious comments; it actually helps me."

In a direct warning to online users, she shared comments from those who have been sued, advising, "If you don’t want to be sued for similar comments, it’s better to stay quiet."

Since her debut in the 2011 drama I Can't Live Without You (지고는 못 살아), Song Da-eun has built her public profile through her participation in Heart Signal 2 (하트시그널2) in 2018. Despite her ongoing acting career, she has faced significant online controversy due to persistent rumors about her personal life.
