Song Da-eun Addresses Burning Sun Rumors and Plans to Sue Trolls
Actress Song Da-eun has once again clarified the rumors surrounding the Burning Sun incident and announced her intention to take legal action against online trolls spreading false information. On April 4, she shared details about her lawsuit against those who have disseminated untrue claims about her.
In her statement, she expressed frustration, saying, "Why create something to apologize for?" She shared a conversation with her lawyer, emphasizing that there was a reason she had been quiet on social media for several months. "Don’t spread rumors that I am the accused. It only makes me want to pursue this more vigorously. I will continue to move forward with this," she warned.
Song further stated, "I don’t need to apologize. I am pursuing this with various charges. To reiterate, I have never been an accused party. I haven’t said anything that isn’t true. Keep writing! It actually works in my favor."
She clarified that the PDF file she received was from her lawyer, who got it from the police, and that the other messages regarding settlement and apologies were also relayed by her attorney. "Is it all my fault? Burning Sun? The so-called 'business girl'? Fabrication? That’s not me. I told you before, I am not the accused. Stop spreading only what you want to see and hear. Can’t you learn from this?" she reiterated, addressing the ongoing rumors.
Additionally, she expressed her disdain for those who label her as strange without understanding the situation. "Just a fan? Really? I don’t care about fandoms; I just dislike being insulted with false claims. If you’re going to criticize, at least know what you’re talking about," she concluded.
