Shin Ji Receives Flirty Attention from Chef Shin Jong-cheol on 'Sadangui'
On the April 6th episode of 'Sadangui' (사당귀), which marked its 300th broadcast, Koyote's Shin Ji (신지) was the special MC alongside Chef Shin Jong-cheol (신종철), known as the 'God of Buffets'. In a show of support for her favorite senior, Lee Seung-cheol (이승철), who is currently on a nationwide concert tour, Chef Shin prepared an extravagant lunchbox by enlisting the help of department heads from various parts of his team.
During the episode, Shin Ji shared her ideal type, describing it as someone who is not affectionate towards her but is kind to others. When asked by Kim Sook (김숙) which of the three men present—Park Myung-soo (박명수), Jeon Hyun-moo (전현무), or Chef Shin—she preferred, she initially declined, saying, "Oh, I'm fine," but then added, "I don't know Chef Shin well, but I know Hyun-moo oppa better."
In response, Chef Shin playfully flirted, stating, "If Shin Ji gets to know me, she will definitely fall for me. Please keep watching a little longer."
Chef Shin also expressed his affection for Lee Seung-cheol, urging his chefs to put extra care into the meal preparation. The lunchbox took an impressive two days to prepare and cost around 1 million won, featuring a lavish array of dishes including octopus, abalone, and premium Korean beef.
The five-star hotel-quality lunchbox was filled with gourmet items that would impress even royalty, including lobster, sashimi, and octopus salad, leaving everyone in awe. Observing the feast, Shin Ji remarked, "I would be so happy to receive a lunchbox like that," to which Chef Shin responded, "If you need Koyote, just let me know. I will make a lunchbox just for you."
He further suggested that the broth from the premium chicken would be beneficial for her throat, but Shin Ji countered, "But if I eat something hot, it makes my throat feel worse." Undeterred, Chef Shin offered to prepare it cold, declaring his intention to be more proactive in his approach. Park Myung-soo then jokingly suggested, "Should we spoil a wedding in November? Should we create some fake news?" to which Chef Shin humorously replied, "I’m in a bit of a hurry."
Earlier in the show, Chef Shin revealed that he has been single for about 20 years and that older women often encourage him to get married whenever they see him.
