Jung Dong-won Shares College Plans and Living Alone Experience

On April 4, singer Jung Dong-won appeared on the YouTube channel Musubi's show 'Choi Da Cheese,' where he candidly discussed his college preparations and life as a solo resident. During a lively exchange with host Choi Daniel, Jung shared his thoughts on university and living independently. When asked about the distinction between 'hyung' (older brother) and 'samchon' (uncle), Jung humorously remarked that Choi Daniel looked like an older brother, adding that he was too youthful to be an uncle. Despite Choi's self-declaration as a 1986-born, Jung playfully confirmed him as 'hyung' while revealing his own birth year as 2007, leaving Choi momentarily stunned.

As a high school senior, Jung mentioned, "My friends are also busy preparing for college entrance exams. I'm gradually getting ready too." He expressed his desire to study theater and film in college, despite having a background in music throughout middle and high school, stating, "I want to learn something new."

Reflecting on his experience of living alone, Jung admitted, "At first, I was scared thinking about ghosts, so I started in a very small place." However, he now enjoys living independently, saying, "I love living alone so much that I don't think I could share my space with someone else."

Jung also acknowledged the continued support from his fans, sharing, "I receive so many gifts from fans that I have a separate room to store them, and there are still many gifts that I haven't organized yet." Choi Daniel empathized, recalling that he had a dedicated box for fan letters about 15 years ago, adding a warm touch to their conversation.
