ONEW Connects with Global Fans at Solo Concert in Taipei

On April 5, ONEW, a member of the popular group SHINee, held his solo concert titled '2025 ONEW CONCERT [ONEW THE LIVE: CONNECTION]' in Taipei, where he engaged with his fans, known as 찡구 (Jjingu). This concert marks the beginning of a new series of performances that will showcase ONEW's evolution as a solo artist, with each event featuring a different subtitle.

The 'CONNECTION' concert encapsulated ONEW's past, present, and future, weaving together his solo tracks into four distinct sections that added emotional depth to the experience. ONEW made a concerted effort to communicate with fans in the local language, demonstrating his dedication and love for them. His performance showcased a range of his charms, from youthful energy to a more mature presence, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with green light, symbolizing his connection with fans.

During the concert, ONEW also premiered the live stage of his upcoming first English single, 'MAD,' set to be released on April 21. The song candidly expresses the feelings of falling in and out of love, featuring warm acoustic guitar, gritty drum textures, and ONEW's rich vocals that enhanced its emotional resonance. Fans participated enthusiastically, holding up banners that read 'MAD FOR ONEW' and singing along to the chorus as ONEW led them.

Reflecting on the successful concert, ONEW expressed, "Today, I felt once again that I am connected with all of you, my Jjingu. As long as we are connected, I believe there will be no end to our happiness. Thank you for making me endlessly happy. I will strive to be someone who brings you joy as well."

Following his concert in Taipei, ONEW will continue his 'CONNECTION' series with a performance in Macau on April 20. He is also set to embark on a tour across eight cities in North America, starting in New York on April 24, further expanding his global presence.
