Man Arrested for Vandalizing Police Bus After Former President Yoon's Impeachment
On April 6, a man in his twenties was arrested for vandalizing a police bus following the Constitutional Court's decision to impeach former President Yoon Suk-yeol. The incident occurred around 11:30 AM on April 4, shortly after the court's ruling. The suspect, identified as Mr. Lee, was apprehended by police after he smashed the bus's window with a baton near Anguk Station in Seoul. During a warrant review at the Seoul Central District Court, Judge Yeom Hye-soo expressed concerns about the suspect potentially fleeing, leading to his detention. Authorities charged Mr. Lee with damage to public property and other related offenses. Police seized the baton used in the incident and secured a warrant for his arrest shortly after the crime.
