Jung Bum-jun's Property Value Soars Significantly
The value of singer Jung Bum-jun's property has reportedly increased dramatically. According to Building Road Real Estate on April 6, the multi-family housing building that Jung purchased in April 2014 in joint ownership with his mother is now estimated to have risen by 5.1 billion KRW.
Located in Daechi-dong, the property spans 195 square meters (approximately 59 pyeong) of land and has a total floor area of 383.5 square meters (about 116 pyeong). Jung acquired the building for 2 billion KRW and subsequently remodeled it. When considering the maximum bond amount of 900 million KRW at the time of purchase, it is estimated that he took out a loan of 750 million KRW, which accounts for 38% of the total transaction amount.
This area is known as one of the most popular regions in South Korea for private educational institutions, leading to a steady demand for rentals in the vicinity. After purchasing the property, Jung converted the semi-basement parking area into a neighborhood commercial facility, where it is reported that his mother operates a café.
Jung Bum-jun debuted in 2012 with the group Busker Busker and gained immense popularity with the release of 'Cherry Blossom Ending' the same year.
