Kim Jun-ho Discusses Financial Control Shift to Kim Ji-min on 'My Little Old Boy'
In the latest episode of SBS's variety show My Little Old Boy (미운우리새끼), aired on April 6, Kim Jun-ho shared insights about his life with his sister and the transition of financial control to his fiancée, Kim Ji-min, after their marriage.
The episode depicted Kim Jun-ho waking up in what appeared to be a newlywed home, which turned out to be his sister's place rather than his own. His sister has been supportive of his relationship with Kim Ji-min from the beginning. Kim Jun-ho explained that he missed the timing to move out, as his previous lease ends in July, leaving him without a home. He mentioned, "I was supposed to live with Ji-min, but my mother said otherwise before the wedding."
During a phone call with his mother, who had gifted him a talisman, she expressed her joy about Ji-min, saying, "I love that Ji-min is coming over; I sometimes smile in my sleep thinking about it. I even cried during the proposal, so I hope Ji-min treats you well."
Throughout the episode, Kim Jun-ho's sister playfully nagged him about everything from food to drinking habits. He noted, "Ji-min and I enjoy drinking together, and this might be our last drink before I get married," as he shared a drink with his sister. He humorously remarked that after getting married, Ji-min has changed, becoming more assertive about financial matters, saying, "Isn't it right for me to give her the financial control? I jokingly told her to take it all while drinking, but I regretted it the next day."
His sister sided with Ji-min, stating, "I think you should definitely give everything to her."
Kim Jun-ho also expressed curiosity about his allowance post-marriage, revealing that Ji-min suggested he would receive a tenth of his earnings as cash. He explained, "If I earn 3 million won, I would get 300,000 won; if I earn 30 million won, then 3 million won. It motivates me to work harder."
His sister praised Ji-min's intelligence, and everyone agreed that he was lucky to marry her. Ji-min's mother chimed in, saying, "Isn't it better for Ji-min to have the financial control? She even won a presidential award for savings," leading to a consensus that Ji-min should handle the finances.
At the end of the show, Kim Jun-ho's sister expressed her gratitude for bringing Ji-min into the family, humorously adding, "There shouldn't be a second marriage. Listen to your wife! Mom even prayed at the temple for Ji-min to be brought into our family." Kim Jun-ho responded, calling it his "last act of filial piety," while his sister encouraged him to have children, wishing for a daughter resembling Ji-min.
