Ailee's Husband Choi Si-hoon Surprises Her Ahead of Comeback

On April 5, a video titled "I Came to Support My Wife... | Ailee's Music Bank Comeback Stage Behind the Scenes" was uploaded on the channel '내조왕 최시훈' (Support King Choi Si-hoon). In the video, Choi Si-hoon expressed his emotions regarding Ailee's upcoming comeback, stating, "Finally, my wife is making her comeback. However, she has been under immense psychological pressure while preparing for it. She seems very nervous and hasn't been able to eat well, which breaks my heart. I work early in the morning, so on my days off, I prepare breakfast for her, but when I can't, she doesn't eat. It pains me to see her like this, especially with her comeback approaching. I wanted to surprise her with a delicious lunch box and a congratulatory cake to cheer her up today."

Choi Si-hoon later picked up the cake and lunch box, noting, "I made something special for her, with eel and abalone. She only had cereal for breakfast today, which worries me." When asked about Ailee's feelings regarding her comeback, he shared, "Being next to her makes me nervous too. I was watching her first live stage on M Countdown yesterday, and I could see how tense she was. I know how hard she has worked, and it drives me crazy to see her struggle. I just want everything to go well for her."

He continued, "It hurts to see her not eating properly while preparing for her comeback. I wanted to make her feel good, so I initially thought about bringing a coffee truck, but since that wasn't possible, I prepared lunch boxes instead. I made sure to include food that would help her regain her strength, along with meals for the staff."

Upon arriving at the broadcasting station, Choi Si-hoon surprised Ailee in her waiting room with the gifts, saying, "Congratulations on your comeback! This is a special lunch box since you haven't been eating well. And here’s a congratulatory cake with your picture and my handwritten message. Enjoy it with the staff!"

Ailee expressed her gratitude, saying, "Why do you always take such good care of me? You even brought food for the staff during the music video shoot!" Choi Si-hoon playfully responded, "Did I bring food then? Did we order pizza?" This led to laughter between the couple.

After checking the gifts, Ailee thanked him with kisses and hugs, feeling reassured by his support. She admitted to feeling nervous before her rehearsal, saying, "I took some medication for my stage fright." Choi Si-hoon comforted her, saying, "It’s okay, you can do it. I’ll be watching during the rehearsal, so just focus and don’t be nervous."

After the rehearsal, Ailee finally had her first meal, expressing her relief and gratitude for the thoughtful lunch. Choi Si-hoon joked, "I spent all my earnings from YouTube on this! The PD was in tears earlier." Ailee was surprised, saying, "Did you really get expensive food for the staff?" to which he replied, "I spent all the money!"

As it was time for Choi Si-hoon to leave, Ailee pleaded, "Don’t go," and they shared a heartfelt embrace. He replied, "I don’t want to go either..." Ailee, feeling the weight of her responsibilities, said, "I have to work, but I forgot the staff was here for a moment," showing her shy side.
