Kim Jong-min Shares Heartfelt Moments Ahead of His Wedding on 'The Jeon Hyun-moo Project Season 2'

In the latest episode of MBN and Channel S's variety show, The Jeon Hyun-moo Project Season 2 (전현무계획 시즌2), aired on April 4, Kim Jong-min (김종민) opened up about his upcoming marriage and the special words from his fiancée that solidified his decision. When asked if he sensed marriage upon first contact with his fiancée, Kim Jong-min replied, "It wasn't that I thought I would marry her, but I felt she was really great." Jeon Hyun-moo (전현무) probed further, asking if his heart had opened up, to which Kim responded, "The more I meet my girlfriend, the more my heart opens up, almost flipping over. I found myself liking her more and more, which was quite unusual for me."
He continued, sharing that discussions about marriage flowed naturally between them, stating, "We both thought about marriage without it feeling forced. She respects my dislikes, which builds my trust in her. I feel like I can rely on her for anything." He also praised her intelligence, saying, "She’s smarter than me, wise, and insightful."
Kim Jong-min expressed gratitude towards his girlfriend, revealing, "I tend to be indecisive, but she once told me, 'I love you despite everything.' It was a heart-stopping moment for me." This genuine love story sparked envy among the cast, with Jeon Hyun-moo commenting, "That’s what it means to love someone despite the odds."
Jeon Hyun-moo also shared his own feelings of melancholy, admitting, "I recently faced a big blow. With Kim Jong-min and Jo Se-ho (조세호) getting married, I feel a sense of emptiness." He humorously lamented the loss of his single friends, saying, "Now I have no one to rely on. But I sincerely congratulate them on their upcoming weddings."
In a lighter moment, Jeon Hyun-moo suggested they visit a sushi restaurant run by an elderly couple in their 80s, known for their unique offerings. Upon arriving, the trio was surprised by the affordable omakase menu, priced at 45,000 won per person, and they eagerly ordered three servings. Soon, the sushi master presented a variety of meticulously crafted sushi, including egg sushi, local specialties, and seasonal fish, prompting the trio to exclaim "Oishii (맛있다)" with every bite, bringing laughter to the table.
Kim Jong-min is set to tie the knot on April 20, 2025.
