Oh My Girl's Arin to Walk the Pink Carpet at Cannes
Arin, a member of the girl group Oh My Girl, is set to make her mark on the prestigious pink carpet at the Cannes International Series Festival. Her leading role in the drama 'S-Line' (produced by Sidus and directed by Ahn Joo-young) has earned the series an official invitation to the long-form competition section of the festival, which will take place from April 24 to 29.
Based on a webtoon of the same name, 'S-Line' explores the connections formed by a mysterious red line, known as the S-Line, that appears above individuals who have engaged in sexual relationships, regardless of time and place.
In the drama, Arin portrays Hyun-hyeop, a high school student who has been able to see the S-Line since birth. This role marks a significant departure from her previous performances, showcasing her ability to embody a darker character.
Arin has been steadily building her acting resume with roles in tvN's 'Alchemy of Souls', 'O'PENing 2023 - Summer, Love Machine Blues', the film 'Mad Dance Office', and the drama 'My Boyfriend is a Stud'. With 'S-Line', she is solidifying her position as a talented actress. Additionally, as a member of Oh My Girl, she is celebrating the group's 10th anniversary with the release of a special single titled 'Oh My' on April 9, followed by a solo concert, '2025 OH MY GIRL CONCERT: Milky Way', on April 19-20. Arin's dual pursuits in acting and music are drawing significant attention this year.
