Im Hyun-sik and Tony An Finally Meet on 'My Little Old Boy'

In the latest episode of SBS's variety show My Little Old Boy (미운우리새끼), which aired on April 6, 2025, Im Hyun-sik and Tony An had their long-awaited meeting. The segment titled 'The Birth of a Family' showcased Im Hyun-sik openly expressing his affection towards Tony An. During the show, Kim Jun-ho asked Tony about his thoughts on Im Hyun-sik, to which Tony revealed, 'When I was young, I wished that someone like Teacher Hyun-sik could be my father.' He fondly recalled waiting for the weekends to watch 'Three Families Under One Roof,' which brought a smile to Im Hyun-sik's face. Tony even admitted, 'At one point, I wanted to be Sun-dol (the character played by Im Hyun-sik), as I admired him as a father figure.'

This prompted laughter from fellow cast members Seo Jang-hoon and Shin Dong-yup, who jokingly encouraged Tony to call Im Hyun-sik 'Dad.' Tony's mother chimed in, saying, 'If I had met someone like Im Hyun-sik, I probably wouldn't have divorced in the first place,' adding to the humor of the moment.

Kim Jun-ho then commented on the empty guest house, suggesting it would be nice if Tony returned after getting married. Im Hyun-sik asked Tony if he was still single at over forty, to which Tony replied, 'I’m still unmarried, but my mother is eager to see grandchildren.'

Im Hyun-sik then inquired if there were any stories about him, leading Tony to mention that he had discussed marriage while talking about his teacher. This piqued everyone's interest, but Tony quickly clarified, 'No, I was talking about my own marriage,' leaving Im Hyun-sik surprised and slightly disappointed, which elicited laughter from the group.
