G-Dragon Shares Insights on 'Bitter' During Good Day Appearance

In the latest episode of MBC's variety show Good Day (굿데이), G-Dragon (지드래곤) engaged in a conversation with actor Hwang Jung-min (황정민) where he revealed the backstory of his new song 'Bitter' (삐딱하게). G-Dragon, who was making a comeback, shared that he had played a guide track for Hwang before its official release, expressing his excitement over the positive reactions. He mentioned that his album consists of eight tracks, all of which he wrote and composed himself.

During their discussion, Hwang humorously noted that he often finds himself performing better in supporting roles than as a lead, citing the added pressure that comes with being the main character. G-Dragon echoed this sentiment, admitting that he felt more comfortable in a group setting compared to his solo endeavors, particularly during the 'MAMA' (엠넷 아시안 뮤직 어워드) awards, where he gained significant insights.

The two also discussed the Good Day project, with Hwang stating that he was eager to participate as long as G-Dragon was producing and involved in meaningful work. G-Dragon affirmed that this was indeed the main focus of the project.

Hwang expressed some initial concerns about being a burden to younger artists but ultimately decided to embrace the opportunity. G-Dragon emphasized the importance of collaboration and finding inspiration through these interactions.

Notably, G-Dragon revealed that the inspiration for 'Bitter' came while listening to a song by his senior, Kang San-e (강산). This acknowledgment of influence from senior artists caught the attention of viewers, highlighting the interconnectedness of the music industry.
