Kim, who boasted 120,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel and was the head of a franchise with numerous locations, was reported dead on March 3. An individual identified as A, claiming to be a family member, stated through Kim's social media that he had died from an 'accident.' However, Kim's company later issued a statement attributing his death to a 'heart attack,' leading to various speculations about the cause.

Adding to the intrigue, a lengthy post believed to have been scheduled by Kim before his death was published at midnight on the day of his funeral but was deleted just four minutes later. In this post, Kim expressed a heavy heart, stating, "At the time this post is made public, I may no longer be in this world. I apologize for showing a bad side at the end of my life." He also mentioned a person named Kim OO, whom he accused of being a fraudster and a criminal, indicating that he would continue to resent and curse this individual even after death.

The deleted message was reportedly removed by A, who was seen at the funeral home dressed in mourning attire, receiving guests alongside the individual mentioned in Kim's post. Following complaints from Kim's family, both A and the other individual left the funeral home.

Subsequently, Kim's father conducted a forensic examination of his son's phone, recovering 1,700 recorded calls, 430 of which were with A. Some of these recordings suggested that A may have been involved in planning Kim's death, raising further alarm.

A and Kim had been in a relationship while Kim was still in the process of divorcing his wife. They lived together and welcomed a child the following year, but their common-law relationship had ended a year before Kim's death.

The released recordings included A making ominous remarks to Kim, such as, "You’re really planning to die, right?" and "If you die today, I’ll be grateful for what you’ve done for me." A also asked if Kim had saved the contacts in his phone separately and made comments about his will.

In response to the allegations, A admitted to having some involvement in the planning of Kim's death but claimed, "I tried to stop him. I wanted him to live. Every time I tried to dissuade him, he reacted more impulsively, and I felt helpless. I was struggling too."

A further stated that Kim was under immense pressure regarding his reputation and finances, alleging that he despised his family and had instructed that they be removed from his funeral if he died. This was purportedly the reason he did not share his phone with them.

Regarding the deletion of the will, A explained, "It was an emotional decision. I deleted it to prevent further scandalous rumors from spreading."

When questioned if he only has one café, Noh revealed, "I originally managed three direct-operated stores, but I consolidated them and purchased a building, becoming a property owner." The café he showcased is spacious and features a unique warehouse-style design. He explained, "This is where we roast coffee. I have set up a mini bar displaying the hottest products that I review, allowing customers to come in, explore, and try them out. The value of the products displayed here exceeds 10 million won, likely around 20 million won, as one machine alone costs 3.8 million won." 

He also shared that one of the coffee roasters on display is the first one he ever used, now symbolically showcased as he no longer operates it. He mentioned, "This is the most expensive roaster, costing about 70 million won. I used to have three or four employees, but when I have external schedules, customers often come looking for me. Actor Park Hae-jun expressed his satisfaction with taking on the 'National Father' role in his latest film, 'Yadang', following his previous success in 'Ppaksak Sogassda'. During a press screening held on April 7 at the Megabox COEX in Gangnam, Seoul, he humorously mentioned considering wearing a padded jacket like his character in 'Ppaksak Sogassda' to promote 'Yadang'. He stated, "I thought about dressing like that for the promotion, but I’m glad I came dressed nicely instead." 

Park Hae-jun plays the role of Oh Sang-jae, a narcotics investigator, in 'Yadang', which also stars Kang Ha-neul as the drug broker Lee Kang-soo, Yoo Hae-jin as the ambitious prosecutor Koo Kwan-hee, and Ryu Kyung-soo as the untouchable Jo Hoon. The film explores the intertwining lives of these characters, each with their own motives, as they navigate the dangerous world of drug crime in South Korea. 

He further commented on the significance of his role, saying, "This film also features a father figure. It has its own meaning, and I wouldn’t mind being referred to as a 'National Father' like my senior Choi Bul-am. I appreciate all the attention. Park Hae-jun Embraces 'National Father' Role in New Film 'Yadang'

On April 7, the Busan Police Agency and the Busan Employment and Labor Agency held a press briefing to announce the preliminary findings of their investigation into the fire at the Banyan Tree Resort in Gijang-gun, Busan, which resulted in the tragic deaths of six individuals. 

The fire, which occurred on February 14 at approximately 10:51 AM, was traced back to a subcontractor's worker who was cutting and welding pipes in the 'PIT room' on the first floor of Building B. Sparks from the welding ignited materials in the area, leading to the blaze. 

During the incident, the worker was cutting a 37 cm section of stainless steel piping with a grinder and performing argon welding to connect a valve to the existing pipe. This process lasted about 40 minutes. Investigations revealed that sparks and hot metal debris from the welding process fell through a 10 cm diameter hole in the floor, which led to the ceiling of the water treatment room on the basement level. 

The police noted that out of twelve holes behind the PIT room pipes, only two were blocked, while the remaining ten were open, allowing sparks to escape. The sparks that landed on the insulation of the pipes in the water treatment room did not ignite immediately but went through a heat accumulation process before eventually causing the fire. 

Authorities estimate that it may have taken around 30 minutes for the fire to ignite due to this heat accumulation and smoldering process. At the time of the incident, safety regulations required that fireproof tarps be placed over these holes, but the workers proceeded without them. Additionally, there was no fire watch present at the site, which is mandatory during hot work operations. 

The sprinkler systems installed on the first and basement levels were found to be non-functional, either due to disconnected valves or manual shut-off. 

CCTV footage showed that smoke began to emerge from the PIT room around 10:47 AM, with black smoke appearing in the basement water treatment room shortly after. Within five minutes, the smoke had filled both the first and basement levels. 

The police indicated that the flames and smoke rapidly spread from the basement to the first floor through ventilation ducts, leading to the unfortunate deaths of the six victims who were attempting to escape the smoke-filled area. 

The investigation revealed that negligence in safety management by the construction and subcontracting companies, along with the malfunctioning fire safety equipment, contributed to this tragic incident. As a result, on April 4, authorities arrested six individuals, including representatives from the two construction companies and the subcontractor involved in the welding work, on charges of professional negligence resulting in death and violations of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act. 

The police are currently investigating the permitting process with the local government and fire department, as there were issues with the installation and operation of fire safety systems despite having received approval for the building's use. A final report on the investigation is expected to be released by the end of the month. 

Furthermore, the Busan Employment and Labor Agency conducted safety inspections at the construction sites of the two companies involved and found 55 violations, including the failure to implement measures to prevent sparks from scattering during welding. Ten of these violations have been referred for legal action, while fines totaling over 12 million won have been imposed for the remaining infractions.

4월 7일, 부산경찰청과 부산고용노동청은 부산 기장군 반얀트리 리조트에서 발생한 화재에 대한 조사 결과를 발표하는 기자회견을 열었다. 이 화재로 인해 6명이 안타깝게 사망했다.

화재는 2월 14일 오전 10시 51분경에 발생했으며, B동 1층의 'PIT 룸'에서 파이프를 절단하고 용접하던 하청업체의 작업자에게서 시작된 것으로 확인되었다. 용접 중 발생한 불꽃이 주변의 재료에 불을 붙여 화재가 발생했다.

사건 당시 작업자는 그라인더로 스테인리스 스틸 파이프의 37cm 구간을 절단하고, 기존 파이프에 밸브를 연결하기 위해 아르곤 용접을 수행하고 있었다. 이 과정은 약 40분간 지속되었다. 조사 결과, 용접 과정에서 발생한 불꽃과 뜨거운 금속 파편이 바닥의 10cm 직경 구멍을 통해 떨어져 지하수 처리실의 천장으로 이어졌다.

경찰은 PIT 룸 파이프 뒤에 있는 12개의 구멍 중 2개만 막혀 있었고, 나머지 10개는 열려 있어 불꽃이 빠져나갈 수 있었다고 밝혔다. 물 처리실의 파이프 단열재에 떨어진 불꽃은 즉시 발화하지 않았지만, 열 축적 과정을 거쳐 결국 화재를 일으켰다.

당국은 이 열 축적과 연기 과정으로 인해 화재가 발생하는 데 약 30분이 걸렸을 것으로 추정하고 있다. 사건 당시 안전 규정에 따라 이러한 구멍 위에 방화 타프를 덮어야 했지만, 작업자들은 이를 무시하고 작업을 진행했다. 또한, 고온 작업 중 필수적으로 요구되는 화재 감시자가 현장에 없었다.

1층과 지하층에 설치된 스프링클러 시스템은 밸브가 분리되거나 수동으로 차단되어 작동하지 않는 것으로 확인되었다.

CCTV 영상에 따르면, 오전 10시 47분경 PIT 룸에서 연기가 발생하기 시작했으며, 곧이어 지하수 처리실에서도 검은 연기가 나타났다. 5분 이내에 연기는 1층과 지하층 모두를 가득 채웠다.

경찰은 불꽃과 연기가 지하에서 1층으로 환기 덕트를 통해 빠르게 퍼져 나가면서 연기가 가득한 지역에서 탈출하려던 6명의 희생자가 안타깝게 사망했다고 밝혔다.

조사 결과, 건설 및 하청업체의 안전 관리 소홀과 작동하지 않는 화재 안전 장비가 이 비극적인 사건에 기여한 것으로 드러났다. 이에 따라 4월 4일, 경찰은 두 건설 회사와 용접 작업에 관련된 하청업체의 대표를 포함한 6명을 사망에 이르게 한 업무상 과실 및 중대재해처벌법 위반 혐의로 체포했다.

경찰은 건물 사용 승인을 받았음에도 불구하고 화재 안전 시스템의 설치 및 운영에 문제가 있었던 만큼, 지방 정부 및 소방서와의 허가 절차를 현재 조사 중이다. 조사에 대한 최종 보고서는 이달 말까지 발표될 예정이다.

또한, 부산고용노동청은 관련 두 회사의 건설 현장에서 안전 점검을 실시한 결과, 용접 중 불꽃이 튀는 것을 방지하기 위한 조치를 이행하지 않은 등 55건의 위반 사항을 발견했다. 이 중 10건은 법적 조치로 이첩되었으며, 나머지 위반 사항에 대해서는 1200만 원 이상의 벌금이 부과되었다.
