BABYMONSTER Ignites Osaka During Their First Japan Tour

K-pop group BABYMONSTER is making waves on their debut Japan tour, recently electrifying Osaka during their third stop. The group held their '2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR 'HELLO MONSTERS' IN JAPAN' at the Osaka Abeno Arena on April 3 and 4. Despite being weekdays, all seats were sold out, leading to the opening of additional restricted-view seats, drawing in over 20,000 fans across the two days and showcasing their immense local popularity.

Kicking off the concert with their title track 'DRIP' from their first studio album, BABYMONSTER unleashed a parade of hits including 'BATTER UP', 'CLIK CLAK', 'LIKE THAT', and 'SHEESH', creating an explosive atmosphere. Their unique live performances, combined with a vibrant band sound, had the audience's hearts racing.

The solo stages, infused with the group's debut narrative, left a lasting impression. Members showcased their upgraded skills, delivering emotional ballads and powerful rap, proving their limitless potential as 'monster rookies'. They also reinterpreted hits from 2NE1 in their own style, highlighting the legacy of YG girl groups.

As this was their first encounter with Osaka fans, BABYMONSTER poured their unwavering passion into the performance. They enhanced the immersive experience with expressive gestures and freely moved around the stage, connecting closely with the audience. During talk time, they engaged with fans in the Kansai dialect, bringing smiles to the local crowd.

In response, fans erupted in applause and sang along, even organizing a surprise event to celebrate BABYMONSTER's first anniversary. The group expressed their gratitude, stating, "Thanks to MONSTIZ (the fandom name), we are able to celebrate our first anniversary. Let's create many more memorable occasions together." They added, "We are happy to perform in Osaka and hope it becomes a special memory for everyone."

With this concert, BABYMONSTER has reached the halfway point of their debut Japan tour, which includes 12 shows across four cities. They are set to continue the momentum in Kanagawa and Fukuoka, with expectations to break the record for the fastest K-pop girl group to attract 100,000 attendees on a Japan tour. The Kanagawa performance will also be exclusively live-streamed on the local OTT platform, Hulu.
