ZEROBASEONE Tops Tower Records' K-Pop Bestsellers in Japan with Debut Single

The K-pop group ZEROBASEONE (제로베이스원), consisting of Seong Han-bin, Kim Ji-woong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae, Ricky, Kim Gyu-bin, Park Geon-wook, and Han Yoo-jin, is making waves in Japan. Their debut single 'ゆらゆら -運命の花-(Yurayura -Unmei no Hana-)' has claimed the top spot on Tower Records' '2024 Bestsellers' K-Pop TOP 20 chart, which covers sales from January 1 to October 31, 2024.
In addition to this achievement, ZEROBASEONE's mini albums, 'CINEMA PARADISE' and 'You Had Me at HELLO,' have also made impressive entries on the same chart, ranking 5th and 9th respectively, showcasing their strong local popularity.
The group has also been recognized by Spotify Japan, ranking 5th in their annual list of 'Most Shared Artists on Social Media in Japan' for 2024, indicating their significant presence on social platforms.
Furthermore, the title track 'Feel the POP' from their mini album 'You Had Me at HELLO' secured the 10th position for 'Most Shared Songs on Social Media in Japan,' making ZEROBASEONE the only K-Pop group to feature in this ranking.
Since their debut in Japan in March, ZEROBASEONE has sparked a 'ZB1 craze' across the country. They held a fan concert at K-Arena Yokohama and recently completed a five-stop overseas tour in Aichi and Kanagawa, selling out approximately 60,000 tickets, demonstrating their impressive ticketing power.
Their debut single 'ゆらゆら -運命の花-' achieved 'Half Million Seller' status just a week after its release, and it has been certified 'Double Platinum' by the Recording Industry Association of Japan for exceeding 500,000 shipments.
Looking ahead, ZEROBASEONE is set to release their first Japanese EP 'PREZENT' on January 29, 2025, which will include four original Japanese tracks: 'NOW OR NEVER,' 'Only One Story,' 'Firework,' and 'HANA,' along with Japanese versions of their Korean songs 'Feel the POP' and 'GOOD SO BAD,' totaling six tracks.
