ZEROBASEONE Shines at the 9th Asia Artist Awards

The K-pop group ZEROBASEONE (제로베이스원), consisting of members Seong Han-bin (성한빈), Kim Ji-woong (김지웅), Zhang Hao (장하오), Seok Matthew (석매튜), Kim Tae-rae (김태래), Ricky (리키), Kim Gyu-bin (김규빈), Park Geon-wook (박건욱), and Han Yoo-jin (한유진), showcased their rising status by winning both the 'AAA Best Artist' and 'AAA Best Musician' awards at the 9th Asia Artist Awards (AAA 2024) held on December 27.

This marks the second consecutive year that ZEROBASEONE has taken home trophies from the AAA, having previously won the Rookie of the Year award at AAA 2023. Their latest achievements highlight their rapid growth and strong presence in the industry over just one year.

Upon receiving the awards, the group expressed heartfelt gratitude to their fans, known as 'ZEROZ.' They stated, "We love our ZEROZ who are always with us. We are truly happy to receive such a significant award thanks to you. Next year, ZEROBASEONE will continue to bring warmth and comfort. We will strive to grow even more in the future."

During the event, ZEROBASEONE demonstrated their musical evolution with a performance of 'Dear ECLIPSE,' which showcased the deepening emotions of the members. Their captivating choreography using ropes thrilled the audience, followed by an energetic rendition of 'GOOD SO BAD,' which contrasted with the previous performance through its upbeat melody and positive energy. The dynamic use of standing microphones kept the audience engaged until the very end.

In a special segment, they performed 'Sonagi' and 'Run Run,' songs from the OST of 'Seonjae Up Go Tui,' displaying their refreshing vocal colors. The nine members' distinct voices evoked memorable scenes from the drama, leaving a lasting impression. They also added visual flair with various school uniform styles that highlighted their individual personalities.

Additionally, member Seong Han-bin, who served as an MC for the second consecutive year, showcased his smooth hosting skills, effectively guiding the live broadcast. He also took on the role of a mood maker by interviewing artists in the audience during the 'Han-bin's Star News' segment.

ZEROBASEONE has made history as the first K-pop group to achieve 'million seller' status with four consecutive albums released within a day of their debut. They are recognized for their strong fanbase as well as their musical and commercial appeal.

Their mini-album 'CINEMA PARADISE,' featuring the title track 'GOOD SO BAD,' has been listed among the 'Top 10 K-Pop Songs of 2024' by Grammy.com and '50 Best K-Pop Tracks of 2024' by Dazed UK, reflecting their significant popularity both domestically and internationally. Recently, they successfully held their first overseas tour, 'TIMELESS WORLD,' captivating 140,000 fans worldwide.
