ZEROBASEONE Dominates Oricon Daily Rankings with Japanese EP Release

The boy group ZEROBASEONE has made a significant impact with the release of their first Japanese EP, 'PREZENT (프레젠트)', topping the Oricon Daily Album Chart. According to Oricon's announcement, the group, consisting of Seong Han-bin, Kim Ji-woong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae, Ricky, Kim Kyu-bin, Park Geon-wook, and Han Yoo-jin, achieved an estimated sales figure of 189,646 copies as of January 28. This impressive number marks the highest first-day sales for a fifth-generation boy group.

In addition to their chart-topping success, ZEROBASEONE also secured the number one spot on the Japanese iTunes 'Pop Album' chart, second on the 'K-Pop Album' chart, and fifth on the 'Overall Album' chart. On Apple Music Japan, they ranked second on the 'K-Pop Album' chart. Furthermore, three tracks from the EP, 'NOW OR NEVER (나우 오어 네버)', 'HANA (하나)', and 'Firework (파이어워크)', made it onto the Line Music 'Top 100' chart. Their previously released track 'Doctor! Doctor! (닥터! 닥터!)' from their upcoming mini album also climbed to 12th place on Billboard Japan's 'Hot Shot Songs' chart, adding to their accolades.

On January 15, the group pre-released the music and music video for 'NOW OR NEVER', which quickly rose to second place on the Line Music 'Top 100' real-time chart, showcasing their popularity in Japan.

'PREZENT' is described as a gift from ZEROBASEONE to their dedicated fanbase, known as 'ZEROZ'. The EP features four original Japanese songs and two Japanese versions of their Korean tracks, totaling six songs that highlight the group's musical growth across various genres.

As they prepare for their domestic comeback, ZEROBASEONE has already made waves in the Korean music scene with 'Doctor! Doctor!', which topped local charts and dominated QQ Music and YouTube's trending music charts in China. With their recent successes in Korea, China, and Japan, all eyes are on ZEROBASEONE as they continue to rise in the music industry.

The group is set to release their mini album on February 24, 2025, marking another exciting chapter in their career.
