ZEROBASEONE Breaks Records with Legendary Performance at MAMA

The group ZEROBASEONE (제로베이스원) has set the stage ablaze with a performance reminiscent of a cinematic masterpiece. Members Seong Han-bin (성한빈), Kim Ji-woong (김지웅), Zhang Hao (장하오), Seok Matthew (석매튜), Kim Tae-rae (김태래), Ricky (리키), Kim Gyu-bin (김규빈), Park Geon-wook (박건욱), and Han Yu-jin (한유진) showcased their talents at the '2024 MAMA AWARDS' held at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, on November 22-23.

During the first day of the awards, ZEROBASEONE won accolades in the 'FANS' CHOICE MALE TOP 10' and 'WORLDWIDE KCONERS' CHOICE' categories. On the second day, they added to their accolades by winning the 'CJ GLOBAL PERFORMANCE' award, achieving a remarkable three awards in total.

Expressing their gratitude, ZEROBASEONE stated, "We are thankful to be loved by Zeroes (제로즈), our global fandom. We promise to continue evolving and showing our best selves. We will work hard to earn more wonderful awards in the future."

On the second day, the group delivered a legendary performance that unfolded like a movie, transforming into nine Romios trapped in a cycle of tragedy, fighting for a happy ending. The narrative was enhanced by a captivating VCR and a solo opening by Zhang Hao, which immediately heightened the tension and engagement of the audience. As the grandly arranged 'KILL THE ROMEO' played, the nine members expressed their determination to overcome fate with a powerful performance that thrilled the crowd. The addition of lasers and various stage effects kept the audience captivated throughout.

The choreography, reminiscent of a fight scene, along with a mega crew performance and diverse unit acts that traversed the stage and audience, showcased an overwhelming presence and scale. They concluded with a festive atmosphere, performing 'GOOD SO BAD' to depict a happy ending, leaving the audience deeply moved.

Additionally, Seong Han-bin surprised fans by appearing as the opening host for '2024 MAMA AWARDS JAPAN' Chapter 1, while Kim Tae-rae and Han Yu-jin showcased their unique charm as members of the special collaboration band '자체발광 TOENZE (TOENZE)', performing 'Left-Handed'.

Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE has achieved 'million-seller' status with all four of their albums since debut. They have consistently made impressive strides on both domestic and international charts with each comeback. Kicking off their first overseas tour, '2024 ZEROBASEONE THE FIRST TOUR [TIMELESS WORLD]' in Seoul this past September, they continue to solidify their status as a leading icon of the fifth generation of K-pop.
