'Yumi's Cells' Season 3 is on the Way

The popular series 'Yumi's Cells' (유미의 세포들) is set to return for a third season. On March 31, Tving announced that they are currently preparing for the production of Season 3. However, they noted that details regarding the release date and casting are still under consideration. Regarding the lead role of Yumi, played by Kim Go-eun (김고은) in the previous seasons, her agency BH Entertainment stated that 'Yumi's Cells' Season 3 is one of the projects they are reviewing. Since its debut, 'Yumi's Cells' has captivated audiences with its unique storytelling that blends everyday themes with imaginative cell narratives, along with a seamless integration of 3D animation and live-action. The second season also maintained the top spot in Tving's paid subscriber count during its airing period, receiving enthusiastic responses. Notably, it was released in over 160 countries and achieved a remarkable rating of 9.7 out of 10 within just a week of its release, ranking in the top five for the Americas/Europe region.
