YouTube Channel 'WiraCle' Joins in Mourning After Tragic Accident

On January 3, the YouTube channel 'WiraCle', operated by Park Wi (박위) and Song Ji-eun (송지은), expressed their condolences in a community post. The message read, "It feels like we are going through an incredibly heavy and devastating time. I still can't believe what happened that day." The channel further stated, "Our hearts are broken. We sincerely pray for the families who are suffering from this pain," and announced that a video scheduled for upload today would be postponed until next week.

This follows a tragic incident on December 29, when Jeju Air flight 7C2216, arriving from Bangkok, Thailand, attempted to land at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do and encountered an accident. Out of the 181 passengers on board, 179 lost their lives.

In response to this tragedy, the government has declared a week of national mourning until January 4, and the broadcasting industry, including YouTube, has also announced a pause in activities.

Meanwhile, Park Wi and Song Ji-eun, who registered their marriage in September and held their wedding in October, continue to engage with their audience through their channel 'WiraCle'.
