YOUNG POSSE to Honor Seo Taiji and Boys at 'MAMA' Today

The group YOUNG POSSE is set to deliver a special homage performance to Seo Taiji and Boys at the '2024 MAMA AWARDS' taking place today, November 21, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, USA.
This marks YOUNG POSSE's first appearance on the 'MAMA' stage since their debut in October of last year. The group has gained significant popularity both domestically and internationally, earning a nomination for Best New Female Artist, showcasing their rapid rise in the music industry.
YOUNG POSSE is determined to showcase the allure of K-hip-hop during this performance. Given that the awards ceremony is being held in the heart of hip-hop culture in LA, they are preparing an intense performance that incorporates California's vibrant culture alongside distinctive local dancers. In addition to paying tribute to Seo Taiji and Boys' iconic song 'Come Back Home,' YOUNG POSSE plans to leave a lasting impression with a freestyle rap segment that will narrate a compelling story on stage.
The group has previously established themselves as a prominent force in the hip-hop scene with tracks like 'MACARONI CHEESE,' 'XXL,' and 'ATE THAT,' earning the title of 'K-Hip Hop Daughter.' This year alone, they have won two trophies at major domestic award shows and have ignited excitement across 12 cities in North America during their first tour, 'THE HUNGRY TOUR,' marking their emergence as a global rookie.
Following their performance at 'MAMA,' YOUNG POSSE will hold their first fan concert, 'THE HUNGRY TOUR - FINAL IN SEOUL,' on November 29 at the YES24 Wonderbox Hall in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, where they will meet with fans.
