Yoon So-hee Reveals Behind-the-Scenes Drama from 'Devil's Plan 2' Review

In a recent review of 'Devil's Plan 2' on the YouTube channel 'TEO', actress Yoon So-hee opened up about the controversial 'Mancala incident' that sparked discussions among fans. However, the review did not provide a satisfactory explanation regarding the bond between Yoon So-hee and Jung Hyun-kyu.

The video, titled 'The Final Winner Emerges! Behind-the-Scenes Review of Devil's Plan Death Room Episodes 10-12', featured cast members Son Eun-yoo, Seven High, Yoon So-hee, Jung Hyun-kyu, and Choi Hyun-jun discussing episodes 10 to 12 of the Netflix reality show 'Devil's Plan: Death Room' (abbreviated as 'Devil's Plan 2').

The most talked-about moment from these episodes was the strong alliance formed by Jung Hyun-kyu, Yoon So-hee, and Kyuhyun. Notably, during the main match 'Mancala of Balance' in episode 10, Kyuhyun sacrificed himself to save Jung Hyun-kyu, leading to Yoon So-hee shedding tears over their predicament. Their emotional connection was seen as conflicting with the survivalist nature of the show.

Yoon So-hee humorously questioned her own tears, saying, "Why am I crying?" but later expressed, "I saw him (Jung Hyun-kyu) struggling emotionally for the first time. He was so sad about being left alone."

She also emphasized that they had more arguments off-screen than what was shown. Yoon So-hee attributed the source of conflict to Choi Hyun-jun, who attempted to betray Jung Hyun-kyu for his own survival. When asked by PD Jung Jong-yeon if her perspective changed after watching the broadcast, she quickly agreed, stating, "That's why I feel betrayed."

Yoon So-hee revealed, "Although it wasn't aired, Kyuhyun and I fought a lot over whether we were betraying Jung Hyun-kyu. But watching the show, it became clear that Choi Hyun-jun had planned to deceive me all along. I feel like I wasted my emotions between Choi Hyun-jun and Jung Hyun-kyu. If I had known the previous situation, my decision regarding Jung Hyun-kyu would have been easier."

However, the most crucial piece of information remained unaddressed: Jung Hyun-kyu's hidden piece reward, which essentially made him 'invincible'. A cookie video from episode 10 revealed that Kyuhyun and Yoon So-hee were aware that Jung Hyun-kyu had a hidden piece that guaranteed his survival.

This knowledge raised questions about why Kyuhyun chose to eliminate himself in place of Jung Hyun-kyu, and why Yoon So-hee, despite her tears, ultimately protected another competitor's survival. Son Eun-yoo also pointed out in the review that Jung Hyun-kyu had to become the public enemy due to possessing the hidden reward. Yet, no clear explanations were provided by Yoon So-hee, Jung Hyun-kyu, or PD Jung Jong-yeon, leaving viewers with lingering doubts about the dynamics among the trio and their alliance in 'Devil's Plan: Death Room'.
