Yoon Si-yoon Surprises Fans with Return to Korea on 'Single's Inferno'
In a recent episode of SBS Plus's 'Single's Inferno' aired on April 1, actor Yoon Si-yoon shared an unexpected update about his return to Korea after spending time abroad. During a surprise video call with his former co-star Hwang Jung-eum, fellow actor Choi Daniel mentioned that Yoon was in the Philippines learning English. Hwang immediately reached out to Yoon, expressing her admiration by saying, 'You still look great and haven't aged a bit.' Yoon responded warmly, stating, 'It doesn't feel like it's been long since we last met.' When Hwang complimented his looks, he playfully replied, 'You still look beautiful, no matter what.' This led to a light-hearted moment where Hwang teased him about choosing between her and Shin Se-kyung, to which Yoon promptly declared, 'Of course, it's Jung-eum noona.' The group praised Yoon for his social skills, with Hwang expressing her appreciation for his thoughtfulness.
When asked if he was still abroad, Yoon revealed, 'I just arrived in Korea yesterday. I've been feeling a late-blooming desire to learn English.' He reminisced about his first tutor being Hwang Jung-eum, recalling how he missed the opportunity to study back during their 'High Kick' filming days. Yoon also mentioned seeing their co-star Ji-hee, who has grown up beautifully, at a recent movie premiere, reminiscing about their past together.
Yoon Si-yoon debuted in 2009 with the MBC sitcom 'High Kick Through the Roof' and rose to fame with the KBS 2TV drama 'Baker King Kim Tak-goo' in 2010. He has since established himself as a versatile actor and recently signed an exclusive contract with the new agency R&C Entertainment, currently considering his next project.
