Yoon Sang Successfully Invites Rise as a Radio Guest

On January 14, 2025, Yoon Sang, a singer and songwriter, made a successful invitation to the rising star, Rise, to appear as a guest on his radio show. During his recent appearance on MBC FM4U's 'Two O'Clock Date with Ahn Young Mi,' Yoon Sang discussed his hopes for his son Anton to join him on the show.

At a press conference for new MBC radio DJs, Yoon Sang expressed his desire to have Rise as a guest, noting that he believes Rise has yet to experience being a radio guest. He humorously mentioned that if Anton were to appear elsewhere first, he would feel quite disappointed. 'Of course, I want to have him as a guest,' he stated, adding that he expects it to happen soon.

Ahn Young Mi then asked if Anton had seen the article about this potential guest appearance. Yoon Sang replied, 'As far as I know, Rise has never officially been a radio guest. If he makes his debut somewhere else, I would be upset. If he does it, I hope it’s on my dad's radio show. I think discussions with the company (SM) have reached that point. If it happens, it will be on 'Today Morning.'

When asked if a date had been set, Yoon Sang confirmed that it had not yet been arranged but expressed optimism that it would happen soon.

Ahn Young Mi inquired whether Anton listens to his father's radio show, to which Yoon Sang replied that Anton has been too busy lately but occasionally shares his thoughts about it. He reflected on their close relationship, mentioning that they had been apart for over ten years due to work commitments. 'With my first child, it leaves a mark. The second one has grown up with me often away, so it feels different. When I hear 'dad' from my first child, it stirs something deep inside me,' he shared.

Meanwhile, 'Today Morning with Yoon Sang' airs daily from 9 AM to 11 AM.
