Last August, Yoon revealed that he had been declared cancer-free after a three-year battle with a rare form of lymphoma known as Waldenström's macroglobulinemia, receiving both sympathy and support from fans. Recently, Yoon faced another health challenge when he contracted type A influenza, which led to the cancellation of his performance in the musical 'Gwanghwamun Sonata' on the day of the show. He was replaced by fellow actor Son Jun-ho for the role of Myung-woo.
